What opportunities does Jack Wolfskin offer its trainees? In our series “We at Jack Wolfskin”, we introduce employees from various areas of the company. Today, Sven is going to tell us about his training as a wholesale and export agent with us – enjoy reading!

"Cycling and skiing, especially in deep snow, are my personal passions – I always wanted to work in the sports product industry. I first heard of Jack Wolfskin thanks to a newspaper article.

It was a report about satisfied trainees there, which really appealed to me.

I have been here since 2012 and am training to be a wholesale and export agent. We are attempting to try out all departments (Sales, Transport, Purchasing, Marketing, Administration, Accounting, HR, Customer Services, Internal Services, Development, the central warehouse in Neu Wulmstorf, Frankfurt am Main airport store). It’s all about getting an overall image of the company and the connections between the specific departments and the company as a whole will become more comprehensible.

As a wholesale and export agent, I focus mainly on the Sales, Purchasing and Accounts departments. That’s why we spend a second time in these departments during our training. My personal highlights were the ISPO trade fair in Munich and the annual trainee trip in the summer – and I’m looking forward to what’s yet to come."
